Altiva Software was spun off from Corporate Montage, a privately-held company, founded in 1991, specializing in CAD-related software and services for the engineering/construction, public utility and oil & gas exploration industries. CADconform was developed as an internal tool for use by Corporate Montage. But when it was realized the value CADconform could have throughout the industry, a full-fledge product was created for the market.
